InEU students are expected at the largest business platform in Kazakhstan! Today, the rector of InEU Anastassiya Aliyassova signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Special Economic Zone “Pavlodar”. The special economic zone “Pavlodar” is located in the north of the regional center. Large enterprises operate here and new ones are being built.

The growing industry needs young specialists and specific support of production. Therefore, cooperation between the university and the Special Economic Zone will be mutually beneficial. The Special Economic Zone is interested in development of metallurgy and petrochemistry. Educational programs will be developed in these priority areas, and university science will develop. Special attention is paid to the youth of InEU. Students will receive dual training, and graduates will find employment. The memorandum implies the organization of centers for the training and retraining of highly qualified specialists of the highest and middle management for new production facilities in the territory of the Special Economic Zone “Pavlodar”.

There will be work for scientists, too. Joint research on the economic development of the region, work on attracting foreign investment, interaction with leading foreign universities and multinational corporations, attracting domestic and international grants will be carried out.

A separate line in the memorandum states support for business initiatives. This is the holding of joint events to support start-up entrepreneurs (start-up projects). InEU will be able to participate in the creation and operation of the “Business Incubator”, “International Center for Innovation and Technology”, “International Venture Fund”. JSC “Management Company of the Special Economic Zone “Pavlodar”” is one of the largest platforms in Kazakhstan. There is a special legal regime for investors to create high-tech industries of metallurgy, chemistry and petrochemistry.
