🎓 Foundation Department

The Foundation Department is a structural unit of Innovative University of Eurasia LLP, whose activities are aimed at improving students' general education and language preparation.

Goal – to prepare students for further university study by organizing the study of Kazakh and Russian languages and general education subjects depending on the field of preparation.

Objectives:

Organization of training for persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to improve their command of the state language and master the educational materials required for passing the Unified National Testing;
Ensuring the improvement of the academic level of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of preparation for admission to higher education institutions;
Organization of training for foreign citizens to improve their language preparation.

Admission and training in the Foundation Department are carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" and Order No. 554 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2011 "On Approval of the Rules for Organizing the Activities of Preparatory Departments of Higher and (or) Postgraduate Education Organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Categories of students

– citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
– persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
– foreign citizens.

Admission to study is carried out on the basis of interview results:

under the state educational order (grant)*
on a paid basis at the expense of individuals**

* In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", education under the state educational order (grant) is provided free of charge if it is received for the first time.

** Paid education is also carried out based on the results of competitive selection. The amount and procedure of payment are determined by regulatory legal acts and the terms of the educational services contract.

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1) application for participation in the competitive selection in electronic or paper form;
2) electronic copy or paper version of an identity document;
3) electronic copy or paper version of the document on secondary general (general secondary), primary vocational (technical and vocational), secondary vocational (post-secondary) education and its appendix;
4) medical certificate form 075/u approved by Order No. ҚР ДСМ-175/2020 of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 "On Approval of Forms of Accounting Documentation in the Field of Healthcare".
Persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens
application for participation in the competitive selection in electronic or paper form;
electronic copy or paper version of a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian of the identity document;
electronic copy or paper version of the education document and its appendix and a scanned notarized translation (if the document is entirely in a foreign language), including translation of the seal;
electronic copy or paper version of a medical certificate for study abroad issued by the official health authority of the applicant's country of residence or medical certificate form 075/u approved by Order No. ҚР ДСМ-175/2020 of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 "On Approval of Forms of Accounting Documentation in the Field of Healthcare".
documents confirming affiliation with Kazakh nationality (for persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

Submission of documents for participation in the interview

from July 5 to September 5

Online:

Offline:

Submission of documents in paper form to the admissions committee at: Pavlodar, Lomov St. 45.

Interview period

The interview period is from September 10 to September 15

Interview rules
The applicant must ensure a stable internet connection in advance and prepare the workplace before the interview begins.
The applicant is admitted to the interview upon presentation of an identity document and a document registration notice or receipt of document acceptance.
The interview is conducted under video and audio recording. Commission members observe the interview participant through a webcam.
During the interview, the applicant must not leave the webcam visibility area, get distracted, turn off the microphone or lower its volume;
The applicant must answer independently.
The presence of other persons next to the applicant is strictly prohibited.
It is prohibited to have communication devices, photo, audio and video equipment, reference materials, written notes and other means of storing and transmitting information.
In case of poor internet connection and absence of audio and video response from the interview participant, the Commission secretary draws up an "Act on early termination of the interview". Such participant is given the opportunity to retake the interview no later than September 15.
If the interview participant's answer is assessed as unsatisfactory, a repeated interview (retake, appeal) is not allowed.
The applicant is removed from or not admitted to the interview in the following cases:
the applicant does not match the data (photo) of the identity document;
the applicant violated the requirements provided by the procedure for conducting the competitive selection.

📣 The results of the competitive selection (decision on enrollment of students under the state educational order) are communicated to applicants by September 25.

💳 Tuition fee

The tuition fee for Foundation Department students is approved by order of the Chair of the Management Board - Rector on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" in accordance with the tariffs for paid educational services approved for the relevant academic year.

The tuition fee per student is 605,000 tenge per year.

Payment for tuition is made according to the contract for the provision of educational services concluded between the Company and the student, or other representatives of the student.

To draw up a contract for the provision of educational services, the following is required:

- presence of the student or representative with a copy of an identity document;
- availability of a receipt for payment of educational services.

Enrollment in the University

Enrollment for study is from September 25 to September 28

Enrollment of students on a paid basis is carried out after conclusion of the contract for educational services and payment of tuition to the university, taking into account the protocol of competitive selection results (the minimum passing score must be at least 50).

Students enrolled in the Foundation Department are required to provide the full package of documents before the start of studies.
