On October 15, 2020, at the initiative of the Kazakhstan Association for Waste Management "Kaz Waste", a round table "Development of a system for the separate collection and processing of plastic waste in Pavlodar" was held.

Among its participants are government agencies that collect and process solid household waste: the Department of Subsoil Use, Environment and Water Resources, the Department of Ecology of Pavlodar, Operator ROP LLP, RPP Atameken, OO Ecom, economic entities.

Problems and prospects for the development of separate collection and recycling of plastic waste, business support in the field of waste management, student startups were discussed, as well as initiatives coming from civil activists and non-profit associations were considered. Roundtable participants agreed on cooperation and active use of international experience in the field of "green economy".
