Public association “ECOM” and Innovative University of Eurasia present a popular science book “Ecology of Pavlodar region”. It will be interesting and useful to a wide range of readers: both adults and children. In addition, the book can be used by teachers as a teaching aid, since the facts presented in it have a strictly scientific basis and give a comprehensive picture of the nature and economy of Pavlodar region that affect the environment of the region. Also in the chapters of the book the manifestation of global environmental problems in the territory of Pavlodar region is considered. 
 
The authors especially note that in preparing the publication, the most up-to-date information from official state ones was used. sources and currently available results of analytical studies and reports. 
 
Authors of the book:

Mogilyuk Svetlana Vladimirovna - Chairman of the Public Association “ECOM”, candidate of geographical sciences. Scientific specialty geoecology. For more than 20 years she taught at universities in Pavlodar. As an expert, she participated in international projects “Management of transboundary resources of the Irtysh River Basin”, “National Plan for Integrated Water Resources Management and Water Conservation for the Republic of Kazakhstan”, on the development of the concept of the “Green Bridge” program, an expert of UNDP on the preparation of a national communication on climate change , OSCE expert on the development of the Aarhus Movement Development Program in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Team Leader on the preparation of an alternative public report on complying with the norms of the Aarhus Convention in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Sixth meeting of the parties to the Aarhus Convention. Head of the group for the development of the first master plan for the cluster development of the tourism industry in Pavlodar region. Co-author of the textbook "Natural History" for the 5th grade with the Russian language of instruction. Member of the environmental council of Pavlodar region.
 
Poukh Marina Mikhailovna - Master of Economic Sciences with a degree in Management. Deputy Chairman of ECOM, Senior Lecturer, Innovative University of Eurasia. More than 30 years of pedagogical work in schools and universities of Pavlodar region. Co-author of the textbook "Natural History" for the 5th grade with the Russian language of instruction, the textbook "Ecobiotechnology in the food industry", the author of more than 20 publications on environmental issues, including international publications.
 
The head of scientific projects of students and schoolchildren on environmental issues and participants in student olympiads. Project expert on chemical safety, the head of the campaign “Public Participation in Decision-Making on Environmental Issues”, the project “Media for Effective Reporting of Environmental Issues and Natural Resources in Central Asia”.
