Within three months, a team of teachers from the InEU Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development carried out a number of projects with KINEU (Kostanay), schools and colleges in Pavlodar region. These events were planned at the “Ybyraycamp” Summer School together with ERG, the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University and Almaty University Management within the framework of the project “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship”.

“InSpaceInEU” was the name of the competition of business ideas and startup projects for schoolchildren and college students of Pavlodar region, which was held at InEU last Friday. The guys were waiting for a meeting with the university’s career counselors, a presentation about student life at InEU, as well as opportunities for young startupers at our university.

The competition aroused great interest among young people, in total about 80 people took part, 15 teams were represented. Participants in teams of 3 to 5 people talked about their startup and unique value proposition, presented their prototypes (minimally viable products) and the team, talked about customers (promotion and sales channels), the structure of costs and revenues, project plans and indicators of achievement of these plans. The projects were very interesting, a number of teams were invited to our university to support our business incubator, said I. Murzabekov, head of the InEU business incubator.

The jury members actively asked questions and it was nice that our university is familiar to the guys, and they are happy to participate in other events of the university. Earlier, business trainers, teachers of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development of InEU held a series of master classes and trainings for the development of entrepreneurial skills for children and teachers. And this is only the beginning of our cooperation, in the spring we are waiting for guys at events such as “Cash Day” - the presentation of prototypes and first sales and “InEU Competition” - a competition for solving business cases. And now the results of the competition:

• 1st place (winner’s cup, 1st degree diploma and portable speakers for each participant) was awarded to the Bi Tech group team with the “TrainAut” and “Qrhelper” projects (Shamshitov Ratbek, Nurakhmetov Almas, Kazangap Dinmukhamed, “Daryndy er balalarka arnalzhan BILIM-INNOVATION boarding school ");

• “Bikovik” team with the project “Teacher Dictionary” (Amantai Ayazhan, Oralova Dan, Kasymova Anel, Akhmetova Danira, higher pedagogical college) got the 2nd place (winner’s cup, diploma of the 2nd degree and headphones for each participant);

• 3rd place (winner’s cup, diploma of the 3rd degree and power banks for each participant) - the “MaDiSofEr” team with the project “Series of teaching aids for schoolchildren using QR codes” (Melnik Sofia, Tsypbek Madi, Kazakap Dinmukhamed, Kasym-Alin Erkeғali , GU "School-Lyceum No. 16").

Nominations:

• “Creative project”, the “Project Game” team with the project “Online Shop“ DreamShop ”” (Kusayn Arman, Oleg Skorobogatov, Sergey Priymak, PCE at the College of Information Technologies at the Higher School of Music);

• “The best pitch” - Anna Shabanova, (from the “Time” team, “Takeaway Cafe” project, school-lyceum №20);

• “Friendly team” - the “Game Masters” team with the project “Company for creating board games” (Soldatov Vladislav, Plahotniuc Alisa, Ledovskaya Alexandra, Abiltayev Yelnazar, secondary school No. 17).

Incentive prizes:

• Eco-Vegetable team with the “Biohumus - 3D” project (Akhmetova Madina, Kudaibergenova Karina, Azhbekov Yernar, GU Chernoretskaya secondary school No. 1 of Pavlodar region);

• Oz Liginus team with the ozLEngine Content Management System project (Zhukov Stanislav, Cherkashin Nikita, Koroleva Daria, Bedrinets Kirill, Pavlodar Higher College of Management).
