Implementation of «YbyraiCamp» contest projects by InEU teachers

From September to November 2019, our team implemented a number of projects as part of the «YbyraiCamp» contest. These are new opportunities for cooperation, the development of academic mobility of teaching staff, new challenges to schools and colleges in the Pavlodar region.

Based on the results of the «YbyraiCamp» Summer School of Entrepreneurship Education (Karkaralinsk, July 2019) for the university faculty of the ERG student entrepreneurship project, our team announced their participation in the project “The impact of InEU on the development of youth entrepreneurship”.

#YbyraiCamp is an initiative of ERG (Eurasian Group) in partnership with Almaty Management University and the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Kazakhstan.

The InEU team presented three projects: “Development of entrepreneurial thinking in schools”, “Development of entrepreneurial thinking in colleges” and “Development of interaction with partner universities of the ERG project - Kostanai Engineering and Economic University”.

The project related to the mentor support of the partner university was implemented by the teachers of InEU Ph.D., associate professor Aryk Narynbaeva, PhD, associate professor Aaltek Soltangazinov and associate professor, PhD Smagulova Zubirash.

According to the approved program, the InEU team visited the partner university, where they concluded an agreement on cooperation between universities, an agreement on academic mobility of faculty, conducted classes and training for teachers, as well as a round table on the intermediate results of the development of the “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship” project, shared their experiences and identified development prospects.

So, Ph.D., associate professor Aina Narynbaeva held a master class for students in the discipline "Doing Business" and talked about business as a special kind of activity, about innovation, focus on profit, how to present your product or service, etc.
PhD, associate professor Soltangazinov Aibek organized a master class for students on the topic “Design Thinking”, where special attention was paid to such issues: design thinking as a creative approach, as a tool for solving specific problems oriented to the interests of the user. Students enrollment amounted to about 70 people.
Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor, PhD Smagulova Zubirash conducted a training for teachers on the topic “Effective Management Skills”, the purpose of which is to show how to put into practice planning and organization techniques, determine priorities and manage effectively.

Our team got the opportunity to study the work experience of the partner’s university, I really liked such university events as “Cash day” and “Competition day”, which are conducted by students together with the startup academy.
The implementation of this project was the beginning of the development of academic mobility of faculty and students, as well as closer cooperation between the two centers of entrepreneurship. We also invited our colleagues to take part in the international conference of InEU, section "Development of youth entrepreneurship" in April 2020. The overall outcome of this semester will be the «InSpaceInEU» startup project competition for schoolchildren and college students (November 22, 2019) and the open defense of the projects of our university students (from December 20 to December 28, 2019).

We invite you to take part!
