On February 10, 2026, the Department of Engineering and Industrial Technology participated in the 1st University Scientific and Technical Conference of Young Researchers "Modern Issues of Technosphere Safety," held in a hybrid format at the Institute of Architecture and Construction of the Volgograd State Technical University.

Under the scientific supervision of Professor Komardina L.S., Candidate of Biological Sciences, and Associate Professor Isaeva Zh.B., PhD, students from the educational program 6B11201 – "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" – honorably represented the university and demonstrated their active engagement in research activities.

🌿 Anastasia Serikova, a 1st-year student from group BZhD25(s)-32, presented research on the topic:
"Modern Issues of Environmental Safety (a case study of Pavlodar Region)."

🌿 Denis Dolgopolov, a 3rd-year student from group BZhD24(vv)-22, explored the topic:
"Environmental Safety (a case study of KAZ Minerals Aktogay Mining and Processing Enterprise LLP)."

Participation in the conference marked an important stage in the students' professional and scientific development, broadening their research horizons and reinforcing their interest in pursuing careers in environmental and technosphere safety.
