The participants are achieving great success. One of the brightest examples is the deputy chairman of the club, Alexander Petrenko, a scholarship holder of the Nazarbayev Foundation. He is also a participant and winner of many debate tournaments.
The ability to defend one’s point of view is the most important skill in the information age. Whether you are a politician, a lawyer, a businessman, a worker or a simple street kid. You have to be able to prove your point.
Unfortunately, this is not taught in schools or universities. But there is a club “Orda”, where you can practice the techniques of rhetoric in verbal sparring without fear of being ruined, fired or beaten.
Classes are held weekly, - says the chairman of the club Vladimir Golubin, a student of the specialty “Construction”. – The most relevant and topical topics are discussed. Everyone can express their opinion and give arguments.
