InEU became a participant of the “World Cleanup day 2021” campaign / “Birge-taza Qazaqstan”
The environmental campaign “Birge-taza Qazaqstan” is timed to coincide with (“World Cleanup day”). It was held throughout the region. 5000 people joined the eco-cleaning.
The ecological cleaning was held in the floodplain of the Usolka river. Students and teachers of InEU became its active participants. 10 bags of garbage were collected.
-We, students of InEU, are not indifferent to the state of the environment, the nature of our native land. Therefore, we are always happy to become participants of such environmental actions. We urge all vacationers not to leave behind garbage, because it is not difficult to take it with you and leave it in a trash can in the city. Cleanliness is up to us. Today, together we have collected a huge amount of waste,” – says Ayaulym Tolegenova, a student of InEU.
It is worth noting that eco-cleanings in Pavlodar have already become traditional. They are held as part of the implementation of the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan (dated September 1, 2020 “Kazakhstan in a new reality”).
The main goal of the event, according to the organizers of the eco-campaign, is to draw the attention of the population to the problem of environmental pollution by waste, improving environmental culture.
-The campaign is aimed not only at cleaning up individual territories, but also at separate garbage collection with the transfer of the collected plastic for recycling, - the Department of Subsoil use, environment and water resources of the Pavlodar region emphasizes.
By the way, there are plans to clean up coastal areas within the framework of the “Clean Coast” month, to reduce the amount of substrates that are a place of accumulation of midge larvae. It starts on September 18 and will last until October 18.
