The action "Remember! We are proud! ”To the Victory Day!
On the eve of Victory Day, students and employees of the Innovative University of Eurasia held a «Remember! We are proud! " Today they put things in order on the Alley of veterans at the Suvorov Cemetery.
- When we learned from the newspaper “Review of the Week” that the graves of veterans are in a deplorable state, we, the activists of InEU, decided to bring order to the Victory Day there. Young people should keep the memory of the feats of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, - says second-year student Christina Baklanova.
According to the organizers of the action: the editorial and publishing department and the committee on youth affairs of InEU, the action is aimed at developing a sense of patriotism and pride for the Great Victory from their ancestors for their homeland from the younger generation. Assistance in carrying out the action was provided by the housing and public utilities department of the Pavlodar Akimat.
The participants of the action collected garbage from the Alley, which turned out to be quite a few, painted stars on the graves of veterans. Particular attention was paid to the obelisk of Glory. Previously, he looked untidy and was not painted. The gray color of the Order of the Great Patriotic War left a painful feeling. During the preparation for the action, the staff of the publishing department of InEU Denis Romanov and Violetta Bulakh studied the colors of the Order that veterans wear on their chests. They set out to give a real color to the image of the Order on the Alley of veterans. Today it was painted in golden, red and white colors, and now it looks completely different. The same young guys will pay more attention to this high award, which honored true heroes.
- Formation of patriotism, respect for the immortal military feat - this is not a rant. We involved in the action the staff of InEU and students in order to honor the memory of the veterans who fought on the margins of the Great Patriotic War, - said the initiator of the action - the designer of the editorial and publishing department Denis Romanov.
At the end of the action students lit candles. We remember! We are proud!
