InEU and the U.S. Embassy open a Business academy for women in the region.

Innovative University of Eurasia has engaged in the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the Pavlodar region. The other day it received a grant from the U.S. Embassy for the implementation of the “Academy of Women Entrepreneurs” project for 2021-2022.

There are 52 000 small and medium-sized businesses in the Pavlodar region. 44,4% of them are led by women. Women’s business is more difficult to develop. Therefore, the goal of InEU project is to help the women of Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Aksu realize their economic potential and thereby strengthen the economy of the region.

- The main task of the project is to give participants a comprehensive and systematic idea of the basics of doing business, to help improve their business skills and competencies, to form an understanding of their business strategy and, of course, to gain self-confidence and motivation for the success of their idea in business. – says the rector of InEU Anastassiya Aliyassova. – The mentors of the project will be international experts from America, active entrepreneurs in different sectors of the economy, who are ready to share their experience and support your business ideas, including financial support. The largest international organization “Business Angels of America” will help aspiring entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region.

The creation of a women’s business academy in InEU closes the urgent problem raised by Pavlodar businesswomen at a meeting with Deputy Akim of the region Saken Shayakhmetov, held in the Atameken chamber on September 9. At it, the founder of Business HUB Zhamilya Ernazarova noted:

- We need real role models – those who “made themselves”. This requires social projects. There is a foreign experience: “business angels”, when an entrepreneur with more than 15-20 years of experience takes on mentoring a novice entrepreneur, and the program is funded by state.

InEU has found funding in the United States. The project was developed during the year, negotiations and approvals were conducted. Now the recruitment of participants for free training has been announced. The group of students will consist of girls and women aged from 18 to 40, who don’t own a business, with at least Elementary level of English. The deadline for accepting applications: 19.09.2021, 00:00.
