The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the 2021 competition for the annual award “Best Scientific Employee”
In accordance with Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Science”, in order to encourage scientists, scientific employees of scientific organizations and organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education who have contributed to the development of science and technology, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Ministry) announces a competition in 2021 for the annual award “Best Scientific Employee”.
In this regard, the Ministry will award 50 prizes to the best scientists of the country for the first time. The amount of 1 award is 2000 MCI (5,834,000 tenge).
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted through the information system of the Ministry https://universitycontest.iac.kz/bestresearcher/ in electronic format within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of the announcement of the competition.
The scientific achievements of the applicant for the Award will be evaluated according to the following indicators:
- the presence of an academic degree;
- the presence of an academic title awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- management of scientific projects and programs;
- the presence of scientific results (articles or reviews, domestic and foreign monographs, a chapter in a monograph, patents, implementations, etc.);
- teaching at least one discipline or several disciplines at the university in the last year;
- training of personnel who have been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of the profile for the last 3 years;
- confirmed results of scientific and scientific-technical activities for the introduction into production;
- participation in the work of advisory bodies on the development of science and the implementation of state policy in the field of scientific and
- scientific-technical activities, confirmed by relevant legal documents (commissions, working groups, expert groups, project offices).
