InEU students won the Cup “Mediation Volunteer 2020” for the best video about mediation. 

Our guys won a victory in the regional contest “Everyone should know about mediation” announced by the Pavlodar Center of mediation back in March 2020, bypassing two Pavlodar universities.

A competition to promote the principles of mediation through improving the legal culture of the population was held as part of the activities of the volunteer center of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Pavlodar Region.

The action took place in two stages. The first stage was held in the format of a meeting with students, the second - in the form of a competition of videos about work inside the university and in the near-university territory. Students handed out booklets and explained to passers-by what mediation is and what are its advantages.

According to Facebook voting, a victory with a significant margin of votes was won by a team of freshmen-activists of the “InEU Team”.  

In connection with the spring quarantine, it became possible to hold the award only now. The diploma and the winner’s cup “Mediation Volunteer 2020” were awarded by Olga Nikolashina, Head of the Mediation Center.

Resolution of conflicts and disputes through mediation is an investment in the future.
