Congratulations to the students of the department "Business and Management" with a victory in the international competition of student research papers "Digital Economy" in economic specialties. The competition was held at Pavlodar State University. S. Toraigyrova.

Digitalization of the economy leads to the penetration of technology into the working environment and personal space of each person. However, the pace of digitalization exceeds the development of skills in the field of application of the digital environment of most people. Therefore, the issue of digital literacy of the population, especially in a professional environment, determined by the set of knowledge and skills that are necessary for the safe and effective use of digital technologies and Internet resources, is urgently raised.

Alexander Patrushev, 3rd year student of the specialty "Finance", Joseph Eremenko, 2nd year student of the specialty "Economics" and Aisan Toksambaeva, 3rd year student of the specialty "Accounting and Auditing" conducted research work within the framework of their fields and won the international student research contest “Digital Economy” by economic specialties. This was the work of analyzing models of digital competencies, assessing the level of development of digital skills and studying the factors affecting the modernization of the economy in terms of digitalization.

Without stopping at this, Alexander Patrushev and Karim Abitov, having won prizes in the competition of scientific works at InEU, prepared scientific works for participation in the Republican competition for the best scientific work of students in natural, technical and humanitarian sciences “Scientists of the future”. The competition is held by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. It will be held in the spring of 2020.
