InEU together with school-lyceum №20 held an action «Read Abay in three languages». The event is timed to the 175th anniversary of the poet. It was held as part of the School-University program.

The action began suddenly. In the foyer of the third building of InEU, a polyphonic chorus of students and teachers of the Lyceum School No. 20 and the University suddenly sounded. More than a hundred people performed the famous Abayev "Kozіmnnіn Karasy".

The action has moved to the coworking center. After greeting the director of the Lyceum School, Gulnara Topanova, the presentation of the video clip “Challenge dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai” was held.

The next stage of the action was the scientific work defence of students in grades 8-11 who studied the life and work of Abay Kunanbayev. Then the trilingual online olympiad for high school students “Abai-dana, Abai-dara Kazakhta” started. The jury included teachers of the department "Languages, Literature and Journalism" of InEU.

An important event of the action was the literary contest "Read Abay in three languages". 15 contestants exceeded the name and read Abay’s poems in Kazakh, Russian, English, German, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Tatar language.

After summing up and discussion, the winners were awarded.
