A lecture on the prevention of disease for students, teachers and employees of the main building of InEU was given by an infectious disease specialist Aigul Mutusheva, an assistant to the department of personalized medicine and pediatrics of the Pavlodar branch of the Medical University of Semey. The lecture was part of the WHO Healthy Universities project.
Coronavirus 2019-nCoV refers to viruses transmitted from animals to humans. Everyone can get sick. But with complications - children, the elderly and people with weak immunity. The incubation period is 14 days.
SYMPTOMS:
- fatigue,
- labored breathing,
- heat,
- cough / sore throat.
Symptoms are similar to flu; the difference is difficulty breathing.

CORONAVIRUS IS TRANSMITTED TO:
- by airborne droplets, from a coughing or sneezing person,
- when touching a contaminated surface, such as a door handle,
- when contaminated hands touch the mouth, nose, or eyes.
HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF:
- keep your hands clean
- wash your hands before eating
- carry a hand sanitizer with you,
- do not touch your mouth, nose and eyes with unwashed hands,
- reduce touch to surfaces and objects in crowded places - transport, shops, airports, train stations,
- do not drink drinks from one bottle or glass,
- do not eat food (nuts, chips, etc.) from common packages,
- avoid complimentary handshakes and kisses,
- ventilate the room.
There is no vaccine for coronavirus, but with timely medical attention, he is treated. Watch your health and the health of your loved ones - relatives, colleagues, fellow students!
