InEU students are participants of the International Olympiad
One of the main tasks of modern higher education in the context of globalization and integration of education into the world educational space is to identify talented, bright-thinking and creative youth.
Carrying out such creative science-oriented events as Olympiads contributes to solving this problem. The expansion of the spheres of application of modern information and communication technologies in the field of education makes it possible for gifted students to participate in Olympiads and expands the geography of participants.
Conducting Internet Olympiads makes it possible to identify truly talented young people who are capable of scientific research related to the needs of the market in high-tech sectors of the innovative economy.
The Internet Olympiad gives an opportunity to evaluate the ability to think creatively, promotes the self-development of young people, and increases the information and communication culture of students and teachers. Participation in Olympiads encourages students to study disciplines more deeply and apply their knowledge in practice.
The thematic content of the Olympiad tasks implements various levels of competence, which makes it possible to judge the ability to solve practice-oriented tasks using knowledge of laws, regulations, analyze the solution methods used, interpret the results obtained taking into account the task.
The XI All-Russian (with international participation) interdisciplinary Internet Olympiad of an innovative nature “Information technologies in complex systems” was held in 3 types of complex systems:
- Information technologies in complex technical systems;
- Information technologies in architecture and construction;
- Information technologies in complex socio-economic systems.
The first (qualifying, university) round of the Olympiad was conducted in the form of computer testing based on a polydisciplinary approach and contained tasks in 3 disciplines and types of complex systems:
- mathematics, computer science, physics (technical systems);
- mathematics, computer science, physics (architecture and construction);
- Mathematics, computer science, economics (socio-economic systems).
2436 students from 38 universities from 4 countries took part in the first round of the XII All-Russian (with international participation) interdisciplinary Internet Olympiad of an innovative nature “Information technologies in complex systems”.
The final round of the XII All-Russian (with international participation) student interdisciplinary Internet Olympiad of an innovative nature “Information technologies in complex systems” was held on December, 10, 2021 in a remote form in the mode of individual proctoring. 88 universities from 38 universities and branches of the Russian Federation, as well as from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the II (final) round of the Olympiad.
Innovative University of Eurasia was represented in the second round by Ilya Makarenko, a student of “Computer technology and software 18-402” group, and Vitaliy Kutyshev, a student of “Computer technology and software group 20-202”, who passed the first qualifying round.
