Congratulations to Alexander Petrenko on the scholarship of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation @nazarbayevfoundation! More than 350 excellent students from all regions of Kazakhstan applied for this scholarship. Alexander was among the 80 scholarship holders. They were announced at the Forum of Young Scientists in Almaty. Here’s a blitz interview with the hero of the day:

- Alexander, under what conditions is this scholarship granted?

- To receive a scholarship, you need to complete at least 2 excellent years at the university and have achievements in the field of science or creativity, as well as in social activities. I won a scholarship in the direction of “science”.

- Tell us about your scientific research.

- My works and projects relate to urban planning (urban studies), ecology, the use of energy-efficient and green technologies.

- Who helps you with these works?

- I am grateful to the large team of teachers of InEU. But I would like to say a special thank you to Sergey Vladimirovich Bespalyy @s.bespalyy, who from my very first days at the university helped and guided me in the right direction.
