Professors from Romania visited InEU
Arrival of professors at the Department of "Business and Management" from Romania on the program of academic mobility («Staff mobility for training»)
From April 1 to April 5, 2019, the teaching staff from Romania, Pitesti (“the city of tulips”) arrived at the Department of Business and Management - Maria Daniela, Associate Professor and Mariana Alina, Associate Professor.
The main purpose of their stay at our university was the exchange of experience in the academic field, holding discussions on stimulating university cooperation in the educational process, and lecturing for university students.
In the early days, the professors held a series of lectures for students of the department on the specialties of “Economics”, “Management”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Finance” and “State and local management” in English on the topics “Capital budgeting”, “Investment Project Evaluation and Selection Criteria”, “Timevalue of money: compounding and discounting processes”.
In addition, an introductory meeting was held with the faculty of the Department of Business and Management, at which the presentation of the University of Pitesti was presented. The issues of interaction of students and teachers of the department with foreign universities, the education system in the European Union, and participation in international programs were discussed. For an acquaintance with the city of Pavlodar, professors from Romania also had a city tour.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to encourage the participation of faculty members in academic mobility programs, the exchange of academic experience in the future, and joint applied research to better understand current trends in the global educational sphere.
