The Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy, started accepting applications from student teams to participate in the Republican Olympiad "Zhas Tolgyn", which is annually held as part of the spring festival "TIREGI SENDER ELIMNIҢ".

Teams consisting of five people can take part in the Olympiad - full-time students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the conditions of the Olympiad, no more than 2 teams from one university are allowed to participate in student competitions.

The Olympics consists of 3 rounds:

1. Preliminary qualifying round
2. Full-time competitive tour
3. Sports

The complex of competitive tasks of the Olympiad includes:

• Presentation of the social and innovative project “Idea for a Million”;
• Demonstration of a video about student life;
• Testing in basic disciplines;
• Sports.

Based on the results of the first qualifying round, seven student teams will be selected for the second stage to demonstrate their intellectual and physical abilities at the TIREGI SENDER ELIMNIҢ festival in Almaty.

The winners of the Zhas Tolgyn Olympiad will share three prizes among themselves. The organizing committee of the Olympiad also provides for additional nominations.

The author of the best project “Idea for a Million” will receive a grant from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy, for its implementation.
