Developing international relations is a high priority at the university. InEU is a regional leader in Kazakhstan, setting an example for international cooperation. Establishing relationships with Germany (Universities of Paderborn, Neubrandenburg). Additionally, agreements with universities in the USA (Institute of Technology, New Jersey), China (Anshan Normal University), Russia, Spain, Finland, Greece, France, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Japan, Singapore, and Turkey.

The University is a member of the European Association for International Education (EAMO), the Institute of International Education (ІІE Network), the Central Asian Foundation for Management Development (SAMAN), Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPACEE), Education Network EdNet, and the Association of Siberian Open University.

Innovative University of Eurasia participates in international programs offered by the European Union and the European Commission: «Erasmus Mundus», «ERAMIS», “Energy - towards Central Asia”, "The development of training programs for renewable energy projects in universities in Central Asia" international project "Global Entrepreneurship Monitor" (GEM) and UNESCO: "The development of renewable energy resources in Central Asia."

Of significant note, the university gained entry into the Great Charter of Universities in Europe.

In accordance with the Bologna agreement students and teachers of InEU are entitled to participate in international exchange programs, competitions for grants offered by the European Union and provides diplomas for graduates recognized by the international community.

Teachers receive training from InEU and students are trained at universities in Greece, Germany, Italy, Sweden, USA, UK, and Belgium. Students are offered lectures by professors of European Universities. Every year more than fifty foreign professors and experts from partner universities and research centers visit to lectured students, conduct training seminars and facilitate workshops

Through participation in international programs the university has the ability to open perspective specialties, develop new research directions, and open modern teaching/research laboratories. InEU gained an unique experiences in international educational program TEMPUS on alternative energy sources. The Laboratory of Renewable Energy, operating at InEU, has no rivals in Kazakhstan.

In the last decade InEU has participated in international projects of the European Union's and the European Commission's "Renewable Energy Development in Central Asia», «IT as a second competence» (ERAMIS), Erasmus Mundus, the international project "Global Entrepreneurship Monitor» (GEM), UNESCO, etc
